FREEZIES FOR ELIMINATE!  The week of May 22nd-26th Key Club will be selling freezies at both lunches for 50 cents each! Help solve the worldwide problem of maternal and neonatal tetanus by enjoying a cool, refreshing treat.

BHS BACCALAUREATE SERVICE:  Sunday, May 21 at 7:00 p.m. at Tornstrom Auditorium.  Seniors, this is for YOU!  Don’t miss this special service.


SENIORS!  If you were selected for an academic award (AP Scholar, NCRC or Bridges Career Academy) but were unable to attend the Senior Recognition event, please come to the Student Success Center to pick up your items.  

CREDIT RECOVERY will meet an extra day after school this week.  In addition to Monday and Wednesday, we will meet on Thursday, May 18th.  The extra day is meant to help with getting classes finished by the end of the year, but attendance on that Thursday is optional.


AP CAPSTONE INFO:  Thursday, May 18th during WIN: meeting in Mrs. Harmer's room (A244) for all students currently registered for AP Seminar and AP Research next year, and any students still considering taking AP Seminar.  

Additional information about AP Capstone courses will be provided. Current AP Seminar students will be available to ask questions and give their perspective on the benefits of the AP Capstone program. If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Harmer or Mr. Hewitt.


SPRING FLING IS HERE!   Themes are Rock of Ages Thursday, and Double Denim Friday.  Join in on the fun!

DON’T MISS HELLO DOLLY!  Come watch your talented friends act, sing, and dance their way through Jerry Herman’s popular musical.  Performances are May 11-13 at 7:00 p.m. at Tornstrom Auditorium.  Tickets can be purchased at the door. Adult admission is $7 and student admission is $5.  What a great Mother’s Day gift - a show and time with their favorite student - you!

9TH GRADE - KART COUNTRY!  9th grade Class Cabinet is having a 9th Grade Only Night at Kart Kountry this Friday from 6:30 - 9:30pm. NO MONEY BEING MADE HERE...just a fun night for 9th graders to celebrate together. Kart Kountry is offering two packages for us:


$10 - Turbo Package (2 Can Am go karts, mini golf)

$17 - (1Bullit Go cart, 2 Can Am go kart, 2 other activities)


MISS BRAINERD/BAXTER PAGEANT:  There will be a final meeting and rehearsal at South Campus in the cafeteria this Sunday, May 14th 3:00pm to 4:30pm for the Miss Brainerd/Baxter Pageant......This is the cut off ladies. If you can't be there but want to join you must contact Vicki Randall 218-851-4808 before Monday May 15th......

THE YEARBOOKS ARE HERE AND WE WILL BE DISTRIBUTING THEM NEXT WEEK!  Distribution will take place before school and during lunch in the media center at north campus.  We will be distributing to one grade level per day.

If you are PSEO, AEC, etc, just come to the media center anytime that week when you can to pick up your book.  If you need to arrange a pickup, email Mr. Wagner.  


If you didn't order a book and want one, I am taking names on a waiting list.  If I have extra books, I will begin contacting people from the waiting list on Monday, May 22nd.    


ALL WARRIOR ATHLETES: Remember to pick up your Summer Strength and SAQ forms, which are now available in the front office. You may also sign up online through

community education. This is a great opportunity to improve your strength and speed for ALL athletics.


9TH GRADE - KART COUNTRY!  9th grade Class Cabinet is having a 9th Grade Only Night at Kart Kountry this Friday from 6:30 - 9:30pm. NO MONEY BEING MADE HERE...just a fun night for 9th graders to celebrate together. Kart Kountry is offering two packages for us:


$10 - Turbo Package (2 Can Am go karts, mini golf)

$17 - (1Bullit Go cart, 2 Can Am go kart, 2 other activities)


MISS BRAINERD/BAXTER PAGEANT:  There will be a final meeting and rehearsal at South Campus in the cafeteria this Sunday, May 14th 3:00pm to 4:30pm for the Miss Brainerd/Baxter Pageant......This is the cut off ladies. If you can't be there but want to join you must contact Vicki Randall 218-851-4808 before Monday May 15th......  


THE SENIOR RECOGNITION NIGHT event will take place at Tornstrom Auditorium on Monday, May 15, 2017 at 6:30 p.m.  Seniors are recognized for military enlistment, academic accomplishments, Bridges Career Academy completion and if they have been chosen to receive a scholarship.  Invitations will be mailed May 1 if seniors will be recognized for any of these accomplishments.    


FOR ALL SENIORS... the Minnesota Department of Education requires that all seniors complete and sign off on their MCIS Personal Learning Plans. All seniors have been, or will be assigned, to attend a WIN period to complete their PLP.  If you choose, you can instead go to the Student Success Center and log into your MCIS account to complete your PLP during your open hour/study center times. Remember, it is urgent that seniors get this done.
