GENERAL INFORMATION

REMINDER:  MVPs and Seniors are to meet with Mr. Campbell in the gym Friday morning at 8:07 am for a brief informational meeting about the All Sport Banquet.


THE SENIOR RECOGNITION NIGHT event will take place at Tornstrom Auditorium on Monday, May 15, 2017 at 6:30 p.m.  Seniors are recognized for military enlistment, academic accomplishments, Bridges Career Academy completion and if they have been chosen to receive a scholarship.  Invitations will be mailed May 1 if seniors will be recognized for any of these accomplishments.    


YEARBOOKS ARE NEARLY SOLD OUT!  We have less than 15 books left! If you still haven't ordered, you need to do it as soon as possible.  Online ordering has been turned off, so you will need to order through Shelly in the main office.  Contact

SOPHOMORES AND JUNIORS: Camp RYLA applications are due April 25!  Stop by the Student Success Center to pick up a flier for this all expense paid summer leadership camp sponsored by our local Rotary clubs.  Camp will take place July 9-15 at the beautiful University of MN Crookston campus. APP:LY TODAY!!!

PENNIES FOR PATIENTS:  The Key Club will be selling root beer floats for $1 during lunch this week. All profits will go to the Pennies for Patients to fight leukemia and lymphoma.


ATHLETES:  See Michelle in the Main Office to get your All Sport Banquet ticket ... Letterwinners are guests ... all teams are welcome!


MISS BRAINERD/BAXTER PAGEANT:  There will be an informational meeting Sunday April 23rd at South Campus in the Cafeteria at 1:00pm for the upcoming

Miss Brainerd/Baxter Pageant. This is a scholarship Pageant and each title holder will receive $750.00.  For more information call Vicki Randall 218-851-4808...  


WANT A VOICE in BHS Student Council?  Homecoming?  Pepfests? Spirit Weeks?  BHS Student/Teacher Climate???  RUN FOR STUDENT COUNCIL!

All 9 - 11 students interested in running for a delegate position to the 2017-2018 student council need to pick up candidate forms from Mrs. Bastian A146 or Michelle Hilborn in the Activities Office.  Ninth graders - applications for Student Delegates can also be found in​ the main office at South Campus.

Candidate forms are to be completed and returned to either Mrs. Bastian or Michelle Hilborn by Friday, May 5th.  Campaign week will be May 8th - May 12th. Students who have turned in candidate forms will pick up rules when they submit their candidate form.


VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!  Camp Invention is a weeklong summer STEM camp for elementary age students in grades K-6.  It's offered the week of July 17-21 at the CLC campus from 8:30-3:45 daily.  If you are interested in being a Volunteer Intern (help strengthen college, scholarship or job applications) please contact Terri Ebinger at 218-839-7201 or terri.ebinger@isd181.org


CALLING ALL ARTISTS!!! The Spring Art Show and Contest is upon us! Please bring display-ready artworks to Room B101, where you will find labels and labeling instructions. Deadline is April 21st all artwork will be judged by community artists on April 25th, 26th and 27th. More information to come about the Senior Fine Arts Banquet on May 1st.
