BHS BACCALAUREATE SERVICE:  Sunday, May 21 at 7:00 p.m. at Tornstrom Auditorium.  Seniors, this is for YOU!  Don’t miss this special service.

SENIORS!  If you were selected for an academic award (AP Scholar, NCRC or Bridges Career Academy) but were unable to attend the Senior Recognition event, please come to the Student Success Center to pick up your items.  

CREDIT RECOVERY will meet an extra day after school this week.  In addition to Monday and Wednesday, we will meet on Thursday, May 18th.  The extra day is meant to help with getting classes finished by the end of the year, but attendance on that Thursday is optional.

AP CAPSTONE INFO:  Thursday, May 18th during WIN: meeting in Mrs. Harmer's room (A244) for all students currently registered for AP Seminar and AP Research next year, and any students still considering taking AP Seminar.  

Additional information about AP Capstone courses will be provided. Current AP Seminar students will be available to ask questions and give their perspective on the benefits of the AP Capstone program. If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Harmer or Mr. Hewitt.

SPRING FLING IS HERE!   Themes are Rock of Ages Thursday, and Double Denim Friday.  Join in on the fun!

THE YEARBOOKS ARE HERE. Distribution will take place before school and during lunch in the media center at North Campus one grade level per day.

If you are PSEO, AEC, etc, just come to the media center anytime that week when you can to pick up your book.  If you need to arrange a pickup, email Mr. Wagner.  

UNEARTH YOUR CREATIVE VOICE:   TheShop (Brainerd’s Youth Defined Space) is hosting award winning hip hop and spoken word poet SEE MORE PERSPECTIVE May 22, 23, and 24 from 4 to 7pm.  This 12 hour workshop is free and open all teens and young adults (dinner included).  Explore how your identity informs the choices you make as an artist and as a person.  For information text / call  Cindy Moore at 218.838.7014 or visit our facebook page at:  

HIP-HOP  PERFORMANCE:  Free Community Performance on Thursday, May 25th.  7pm at Franklin Art Center Theater.  Performance by master of DJ Technology, DJ KOOL AKIEM  and Hip Hop Spoken Word Artist SEE MORE PERSPECTIVE.We will be featuring spoken word presentations of  Brainerd AEC Students and youth from our community. Come out and support them onstage.  Meet the Artists Reception immediately following.
