Attention all 9th graders! There will be an informational meeting today at 4pm in the BHS lunchroom for the 2014-2015 COMPETITIVE CHEERLEADING season try-outs.  Try-outs are just to determine the skill level of each person.


Any 9th grade boys who are interested in playing Football next fall and did NOT attend the meeting last week to get the paperwork needed, should see Coach Freed in Room 102 this week to pick that up.  For those who have not turned in their information sheet need to get that to Mr. Freed's this week.

Also any students interested in fishing in the Central Minnesota High School Muskie Tournament this summer on Lake Alexander should see Mr. Freed in Room 102 for information and details.


9th - 11th Grade Girls Basketball Players: There will be a meeting on Monday, May 5th

The Junior Class is having a dance, this Friday 3/28, from 7-10 pm in the A commons.  The dance is a Jungle theme so students are encouraged to wear their favorite animal print (school appropriate), $5 at the door.  SC site council and administration approved the 9th graders attending.  The students will be putting up advertisements today.

It is not too late to sign up to be in our school talent show! You do not have to sing or dance to be in the talent show, any cool talents you have could work! The sign up sheet is in the office. All students who sign up for the talent show need to perform their act for Mr. Aulie or Ms. Ingram sometime this week after school in order to be in it. See Mr. Aulie or Ms. Ingram to set up a time to do that.

Special recognition goes to Brianna Manley for her 1st place finish in storytelling, Leah Rathe and Megen Franzen, 3rd place in duo, Miriam pritschet and Ashlee Hauble, 6th place in duo, Patrick Meyer, 5 th place in extemp speaking and Lauren Crabtree for honorable mention in humorous interp. Congratulations Brainerd speech team for their strong showing at the National Forensic League District tournament.  Special recognition goes to Andrew Pratt and Patrick Meyers who made it to semi-finals in extemporaneous speaking and to Miriam Pritschet, who was selected as the Northern Lights District Student of the Year!


Students...you may have already noticed that we have a new water fountain in the 700’s...we now have another one in the 400’s and there will also be another one coming soon in the cafeteria.

2nd semester schedules were released Friday evening. You may access your schedule from home. If you are not able to access your schedule from home, you may print off a copy in the Media Center or get a copy from the Main Office.


Please review your schedules to make sure you have math, English, and science. If you did not have World Geography 1st semester, you should have it 2nd semester (unless if you are in AP Human Geography).


No schedule changes will be made unless if there is an error on your schedule. If there is an error on your schedule, please come to the Main Office for a schedule change form. This must be completed and returned to the Main Office.
